There are two main types of dental implants: Immediate Function Implants, where the implant and replacement teeth are set in one day and traditional dental implants, where the implant is placed at one time and the replacement teeth are placed a few months later. Dr. Brueggen is an expert in the placement and restoration of both immediate function implants and traditional dental implants. No one procedure is right for everyone.

Immediate Function Implants Immediate Function Implants can be used in many cases where the patient is missing one tooth, a few teeth and especially those who need total teeth replacement, as with Dr. Brueggen's All-On-Four procedure.

Traditional Dental Implants
The 2-stage process is more commonly used when only one or two teeth must be replaced and or when the most predictable possible result is more important than time or convenience. It is rarely used in full mouth reconstructions.
